The Criminal Investigation Division conducts criminal investigations on crimes of a felony nature and on high level misdemeanor crimes occurring within the City of Natchez. The Division is also responsible for the processing and storage of all property and evidence.
Court Bailiff – The court bailiff falls under the direction of the CID unit. The court officer is responsible for enhancing the safety and security of police department members and visitors to police headquarters and the courts.
